Chrome helper setup (install once, update when released)
Install the Chrome helper before submitting attendance. You only need this once on this Mac.
- Click Download Chrome helper → unzip the folder (keep it in Documents or similar — don’t delete it later).
- Open
chrome://extensions(click copies the address if Chrome blocks the link). - Turn on Developer mode (top right) → Load unpacked → select the unzipped
starrking-banner-fillfolder. - Optional: pin the extension (puzzle-piece icon → pin).
Review workday and TNC check-ins, correct missing records, then select each reviewed date and CRN for Banner.
Correct or add a family check-in · Attendance term settings
Save is confirmed only after a fresh Banner page shows every reviewed attendance value. Optional certification respects Banner's validation. Confirm its final outcome in Banner before retrying an uncertain item.
Temporary fallback: paper sign-in sheet
Use this during the app rollout when a paper sheet is needed. Staff must review the scan before submitting. Keep it until the app workflow has been validated.
Hold the Adult Participation Sign-In Sheet up to your Mac webcam (or upload a photo). Straight-on and well lit works best; rotation is OK. Review comes next — Banner is not filled automatically.
